1. Your agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") describe the relationship between you and Forras Inc. ("Forras", "we", "us") when you use Forras Link, our connected apps, our API, or any related service (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, publishing a Link page, or making a purchase on a creator's page, you agree to these Terms.
If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to bind that company, and "you" in these Terms means both you and that company.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create a Forras account. You must also be able to lawfully form a binding contract in the jurisdiction where you live. We may decline to provide the Service to anyone for any lawful reason.
3. Your account
You are responsible for everything that happens under your Forras account. Keep your sign-in credentials safe, use a strong unique password, and turn on two-factor authentication. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorised access.
You agree to give us accurate, up-to-date information when signing up and when making purchases. Forras is not responsible for losses caused by stale or inaccurate account details you provided.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- Break the law or facilitate someone else breaking the law.
- Sell goods or content that infringe third-party intellectual property, are pornographic involving minors, promote violence or self-harm, or are otherwise prohibited by our Acceptable Use Policy.
- Send spam, phishing emails, or unsolicited bulk messages through our newsletter feature.
- Probe, scrape, or interfere with the Service, or attempt to reverse-engineer it except where local law expressly permits.
- Resell, sublicense, or repackage the Service without our prior written agreement.
5. Creator content
You keep ownership of everything you upload — product files, page copy, images, newsletter drafts, all of it ("Creator Content"). You grant Forras a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, transmit, and serve your Creator Content for the limited purpose of operating the Service for you. That licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, except where we need to retain it to comply with law.
You promise that you own (or have permission to use) everything you upload, and that your Creator Content does not infringe anyone else's rights.
6. Fees and payouts
Forras Link is free to start. Pro is $8 per month (or local equivalent) and includes a reduced platform fee. Buyer payments are processed by our partners (Stripe for card payments; Coinbase CDP for USDC and EURC settlement). Forras deducts its platform fee from each native sale and forwards the remainder to your wallet, normally within five minutes for stablecoin payouts and two days for card payouts.
You are responsible for taxes due in your jurisdiction on your sales, except where Forras or its partners explicitly handle them on your behalf (for example, EU VAT via Stripe Tax).
Refunds and chargebacks are governed by the next section.
7. Refunds & digital-sale finality
Forras digital sales are final by default. Because buyers receive their files immediately at checkout, every buyer is required to tick an explicit waiver confirming they want immediate access and accept that they lose any statutory right to cancel once the download begins. We apply this waiver universally — to every buyer, in every jurisdiction — so the rule is the same for everyone and satisfies the EU and UK consumer-law floor on its terms.
Card refunds are discretionary. As the seller, you can choose to refund a card sale from Transactions → Issue refund. A nominated approver receives an email magic-link to confirm; on approval, Stripe returns the money to the buyer's card within roughly 5–10 business days. The refunded amount is deducted from your earnings on that order, and the Forras platform fee on the refunded portion is reversed proportionally so neither side carries a hidden cost.
USDC and EURC sales are final at the rail. Stablecoin transfers settle on a blockchain and cannot be reversed by us, by Coinbase, or by the buyer's wallet. We do not offer refunds for stablecoin purchases, and the waiver above reflects that.
Imported-store sales (Shopify, WooCommerce, Etsy, PrestaShop, Shopware, Tiendanube, Mercado Libre, Hotmart, InstaMojo) are completed on the originating store under its own terms. Refunds for those orders happen on the original store — Forras is not a party to the sale and cannot issue or reverse them.
Chargebacks. If a buyer successfully disputes a card transaction with their bank, the disputed amount (plus any applicable Stripe fee) is recovered from your Forras balance. We will notify you promptly so you can supply any evidence you wish to attach.
Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable right you have under mandatory local consumer-protection law.
8. Third-party stores
Forras Link can pull product data from connected platforms — Shopify, WooCommerce, Etsy, PrestaShop, Shopware, Tiendanube, Mercado Libre, Hotmart, and InstaMojo. When a buyer clicks a product sourced from one of those platforms, checkout happens on that platform under its terms. Forras is not a party to that sale and does not collect the platform fee on those transactions.
9. Intellectual property
"Forras", the Forras logo, and the Forras Link product wordmark are trademarks of Forras Inc. The Service software, design, and documentation are owned by Forras and protected by intellectual-property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers those rights to you, except the limited right to use the Service while your account is active.
10. Suspension & termination
You can close your account at any time from Settings. We can suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we reasonably believe your account is being used to harm buyers, other creators, or our partners. We will give you reasonable notice where possible.
On termination, your stored balance becomes payable to your nominated bank or wallet, subject to any holdbacks for ongoing chargebacks or unresolved disputes.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forras disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly secure.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forras's total liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid Forras in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars (USD 100). Forras is not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via an in-product notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
